Mary McCormack was an American actress best known for her portrayals as the lead character in TV shows like "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. Mary McCormack is famous for her role in the movies 'Private Parts,' 'Deep Impact, True Crime and 1408. McCormack was born to an ice-cream parlor owner as well as a psychologist who worked in a clinic. The family is not in any relationship with entertainment. Following her parents' divorce in 1990 she attended Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut where she graduated with the degree of BA in Comparative Art. Her career began at 12 years old when she starred in the stage production 'Amahl & the Night Visitors, an operetta for Christmas. In the course of her work in theatre, McCormack eventually gained roles for both the film and television. McCormack is now recognized as one of Hollywood's best artists. Married to producer cum director Michael Morris, she has three children.
